I’ve live-tweeted presidential debates before, to some acclaim, actually.
I never considered it last night. I had no plans to watch at all, but the boys were interested, so I watched with them.
There’s nothing to say about it that hasn’t been said, I’m sure, so I’ll just say I found it embarrassing and appalling, both in “new low” kinds of ways.
I told the boys last night that grown-ups had run the world recently enough for me to remember it. I think they believed me.
