Gunmen kill one, wound six in Sunday shootings; Tea Party rhetoric must be calmed

A woman was shot and killed, and two sheriff’s deputies were wounded, outside a Port Orchard, Washington Wal-Mart yesterday. Four Detroit police officers were shot yesterday.  All are expected to survive, thank goodness.
