Hello, dudes and dolls.

The past three years have been hard on me. This is not a complaint, but merely a report of what I believe to be an accurate state of things. I remain blessed with a wonderful life, with what most people in the world would consider a short and silly list of problems.

But these most recent years, the miles have been so much harder. Hard miles. That’s how I’ve put it to several of you in person. Bluntly, I can attribute some of it to needing to be a better steward of my health. But I also need to let go of some things.

I will keep my domains. I will keep the BoWilliams.com archive online, because there are several thousand links out there to it. But this is, essentially, the final BoWilliams.com post.

Readers, some of you have been there since the beginning, which humbles me even more than it delights me. Thank you for coming on the trip with me. Part of me wishes I could continue it indefinitely, but I’ve mulled this long enough to believe that stopping is the correct decision. It’s time.

That said, BoWilliams.com will go somewhere purposeful for the rest of my life (even if it’s “there used to be an active blog here” content like this for several months or a few years or whatever it is). Maybe one day that “somewhere purposeful” will mean regular content updates again. I just don’t know. But I need to just not know for a good long while. I need to turn loose of this. Of that I am confident.
