Betty White dead at 99

I’ve gotten lots of Betty White hits for years because of this post. Volume is up in the wake of her death.

I’ll confess the first thought I had upon Lea telling me was “oh man, she didn’t make it to 100.” But my very next thought was how sweet it must be to be in her beloved Allen Ludden’s arms again.

And my parting thought is that I hope everyone mourning her takes these words of hers to heart:

I don’t know how people get so anti-something. Just mind your own business, take care of your own affairs, and don’t worry about other people so much.

Thank you, ma’am. RIP.

  1. Ah, if only we all lived by those words. Very close to what is in the Bible (1st Thessalonians 4:11) “Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you.” Such a wise lady.
