In my consistent experience, if it takes you more than a dozen words or so to give me a good idea of your political leanings, and/or if you use the word “independent” or “moderate” regardless of the length of your answer, then invariably, you believe the federal government has both the authority and the efficacy to solve all sorts of problems in which it has no business inserting itself.
Ladies and gentlemen, the word is liberal.
