Thursday miscellanea #577

Not ready to share specific progress on my weight yet, but week to week is looking good. I’m excited about getting back into some clothes soon.
The new wood barrel bourbon scent of Dr. Squatch soap is excellent. I may have a new regular in the rotation.
Lea and I finally got out to Tom Brown’s last night for a twice-postponed-because-of-winter-weather double date. We enjoyed ourselves. It’s a bit of an indulgence for sure, but food and service were both worthy.
Do you know about TuneIn.com? It enables you to listen to tens of thousands of terrestrial radio stations over the Internet. I’m making a concerted effort to appreciate classical music more, and I’m really digging what I can find out there.
(That doesn’t mean I enjoy DXing any less, though. The reception is still a kick, even though hearing what you’re trying to receive is trivially easy.)
I’m getting anxious about the Indy 500 (again). Fingers crossed it will be safe for full attendance.
The weather forecast is looking pretty amazing, dudes and dolls. If you’ve been looking forward to a walk or a bike ride, you ought not have any trouble finding a time to do it in the next week.
