- In the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century episode Happy Birthday Buck, with special jaw-dropping guest star Morgan Brittany, they are celebrating his 534th birthday.
- I saw a yellow Ferrari 348 this week in traffic, and was excited to tell my younger son. When I did, he replied, without looking up from his tablet: “is that an actual Ferrari, or a grandpa Ferrari?” Wow, man. Just wow. (For the record, I think it is a very attractive car, and yes, it’s got some chops.)
- Lea and I are watching Vera on Britbox right now, and while we’re enjoying it, we’d really prefer endless Scott & Bailey.
- I can’t believe we’ve let it go so long, but we’ve been without a gas grill since I did this. Very much looking forward to getting one imminently.
- I had a thought-provoking and valuable lunch with my pastor this week. I am so thankful for the relationship we enjoy, and grateful for his spiritual leadership.
- The 19th-century house in which my dear friend Margaret grew up is now a bed & breakfast. I think I’m going to stay there the next time I go back to Anniston.
- We’re going to get colder next week. Frankly, I’m ready for a good bit of it. We’ve not had any sustained winter, really.
