I get followers on Twitter from time to time whose bios are full of nebulous marketingese, but it’s never at all evident what the product is.
I’m beginning to pay closer attention. The product is me. The product is you. The product is what we have to say (making this sentence self-referential).
My past forays into this world have been limited. I’ve stuck a link on Reddit from time to time, after seeing my friend Greg Bacon do that with links of mine and getting consequent traffic increases. When I publish a new post, it goes out on my Twitter feed automatically.
But I’ve not undertaken a serious effort to articulate and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, and I’m thinking about that now. Stay tuned.
Someone named Elrod Clyde may be involved.
