Despite the fact that hers were some of the first breasts I ever saw in an R-rated movie, Brooke Shields didn’t win me over as a genuine talent until 1996 (in Freeway, one of my all-time favorite films).
I just saw her in a funny Volkswagen commercial (for the badge-engineered Chrysler van Volkswagen is selling, the Routan). This isn’t as good as the Peter Stormare commercials, but I did laugh out loud.

Yeah, it’s not as funny as I thought it was two nights ago. What can I say? Brooke Shields was there for me on the cusp of puberty. I guess it warped me. 🙂
