Lea’s car is totaled. Soon a wrecker will carry it away, and I will never have to think about what part of it needs painting at the moment again. (Marring an otherwise good service record was the fact that the paint started falling off in large pieces about four years into ownership. The only paint reliably adhering to the car today was that applied during repairs after this incident.)
Wish I hadn’t put two tires on it a month ago. I am pleased, however, to avoid its second timing belt service, which is due.
So, Lea’s enjoying poking around seeing what the next Leamobile might be. Could be another van. Could be a crossover. We’ll see. She’s in the Technical Writing Express and I’m in my pickup until we figure it out.
