I got a hit from China today.
I mentioned this site before, where you can check to see if a site is blocked in China, which this one was when I first mentioned it. All of the tests I ran there tonight seemed to indicate that BoWilliams.com was still pretty hard to hit from behind the Great (Fire)wall (except for from Hong Kong, just like last time I checked).
I wondered about Wuhan, as in whether there was anything about it to make one think this hit might be a government censor. Not really. It’s a city of almost 10 million people, so odds seem decent it’s just someone who got through. That’s pretty cool.

Greetings from China!
Kim and I are in Beijing touring the city and the sites. Even though you’re not blocked, it is taking some time for your blog to load. It could be the fact that we are staying in a government owned hotel, The Beijing International Hotel. One of the ladies traveling with us noticed the same couple of guys always lingering by the couches in the lobby every morning. Probably coincidence, right?
Hey Chris! Thanks for the firsthand information. I appreciate it. Say hi to Kim for me.
And, uh, I wouldn’t look too hard for “coincidences” of that nature…
