Tomorrow, the Republicans will handily wrest control of the U.S. House of Representatives from the Democrats. This will occur because many millions of voters have unambiguously refused a continuation of the hard-left agenda of the first two years of the Obama administration.
Yeah. So.
This election is a summary rejection of Democrat policies. It is not necessarily, however, a vote of support for Republicans. It is a vote for opposition that will do something. The Republicans simply happen to be in a position to benefit.
If they do the right thing, they could restore the brand. This is a hugely consequential election, and securing the seats is the beginning. We must have the promised action, ladies and gentlemen.
There is just a little bit of time to enjoy the carnage, though. Please do.
Do me a favor, too. If you hear any entertaining explanations for the election results—explanations that differ substantially from “the voters have rejected the direction of this administration”—please let me know.

Ear to the ground, chief.
You heard about PBS wanting conservative bloggers to “host their own Newshour,” right? (http://michellemalkin.com/2010/11/01/pbs-to-conservative-blogger-help-us-conservative-blogger-to-pbs-buzz-off/)
‘seester, BB, indeed. Wonder if The One has anything in his repertoire besides naked arrogance? We’re about to find out.
Kelly, I had not heard that, and my first thought upon reading it in your comment was “piss off.” I’m pleased to read it was Malkin’s, too.
