Bill Clinton champions respect for the law

billclintonEarlier this week, former president Bill Clinton delivered a hard-hitting rebuke to President George W. Bush concerning the commutation of Lewis “Scooter” Libby’s prison sentence. In a radio interview with WHO in Des Moines, Clinton charged that Bush administration officials “believe that they should be able to do what they want to do, and that the law is a minor obstacle.”

Next week, President Clinton plans to deliver what is sure to be a stirring and inspirational commentary on the importance of counseling young professional women in a positive way, followed by his heartfelt remarks on how much he has valued his ongoing faithfulness to Hillary, his wife of more than 30 years.

Time permitting, he will also host a round-table on the importance of telling the truth under oath, as well as the importance of cooperating with law enforcement officials. One topic already rumored to be slated for discussion is “The Ambiguity of Present-Tense Forms of ‘Be.'”

  2. I just puked up the entire contents of my stomach. Don’t know where that came from. I think it was something I ate, as it feels like a mild stomach bug. Now I’m killing time in the office so as not to wake up the husband. He needs his rest, you know.
