My children are home. I am happy.
There is now an operating Buc-ee’s on the southeastern corner of once-tranquil exit 347, where Browns Ferry and I-65 intersect. If you are happy about this development, then I am happy for you. I have no plans to enter this establishment. I am certain there is nothing for sale there that is worth the large expenditure of my crowd points that would certainly be necessary.
There is a lot of Kiffin-to-Auburn smoke right now, and if it turns out there’s fire and Auburn hires him, they will have gotten one of the best candidates available. There will still be Auburn fans who believe he’s a downgrade from Carnell Williams.
I’m not going to name the company, because it would be my word against theirs, and I have no interest in having that exchange with them, publicly or privately. I will say one thing, however. If you hire someone to inspect and/or maintain your HVAC equipment, I strongly advise you to take photographs of the outside and inside of your unit(s), including all connections, before they arrive.
Lea and I just finished Karen Pirie, a Britbox original limited series, and thought highly of it. Hope there is more in the pipeline. Sounds like there might be.

Right now it looks like wall-to-wall rain on Friday and Saturday of the long weekend. I hope the forecast improves a bit. I don’t plan to be outside much, but I had hoped for a few hours.
