Thursday miscellanea #622

Back at work this week. I was blessed to be able to work at home to minimize the leave I had to take. I was also blessed to be merely inconvenienced, as opposed to enduring a genuine health crisis.
Can it be true that a Krispy Kreme T-shirt isn’t available in a 2X or 3X size? Yes, it can. (I really wanted this cap, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to order it. I have inquired.)
Anaheim Chili is returning! I just exchanged a few messages with Scott, and he’ll have the full menu available when he reopens the restaurant at Salty Nut Brewery. Dinner only to start. I can’t wait!
I don’t want to talk about the latest thing I’m doing about my activity level, because I don’t want to jinx it. Give me another couple of weeks and I’ll share. Habits, dontcha know.
We finished C.B. Strike this week. I hope more seasons are forthcoming. We picked up Torchwood and enjoyed the first episode. I think we’re going to watch it. This earned us unsolicited and unexpected cool points from Amelia. See? We are cool.
I try to do business with Allegory Goods as much as possible, and I have a lot of their (seriously great) stuff. There is a Levenger interloper or two, however, and among them is a “tech case” (that they don’t sell anymore, else I’d link it). It’s a clutch. And a clutch is a purse. I carry a purse.
IndyCar returns to the Speedway this weekend for another cross-series doubleheader on the road course there. I’m looking forward to it. Watch at 11 AM CDT on Saturday on NBC, with the Xfinity Series enjoying the rubbered-up course immediately following.
