Looking forward to a great day with old friends tomorrow!
My dad is cheap in really funny ways sometimes. You know what he got excited about recently? A big lot of misprinted custom ballpoint pens, like this one. Dad’s not a zillionaire, but he can have a nice pen. He can have a nice pen on his person and in each room he’s ever in, even. Nope. This is what turns him on more.
The seventh and final season of Bosch drops June 25! And a Bosch spinoff is coming, with Titus Welliver reprising the title character!
I ordered a new EGR valve for my pickup maybe six months ago. I decided I’d put it on today. Alas, there is a large nut that hasn’t been unnutted in most of 20 years that is quite stubborn. Soaked it with penetrant and I’ll try again Saturday.
I exchanged a couple of hostile messages today with a person who was peddling pseudoscientific “medical” “treatments” in a Facebook thread I was monitoring. I could make a fortune doing that if I didn’t have a conscience.
My phone won’t work on AT&T beginning in February 2022, and they are hot to sell me another one right now. That is nine months away. That’s two eternities in tech time. I’m good, AT&T. I’ll shop in January, mkay? (And—spoiler alert—I probably won’t buy it from you.)
Checked the forecast? We’re getting at least one more little splash of spring on Saturday. Can’t wait!
