- All set for it to rain for a week, kids?
- It takes us longer and longer to hit them—that’s their nature—but we’ve got another perfect square in 576. When I was in the tenth grade, my geometry teacher Mr. Bennett made everyone memorize the squares of 1 through 25. It’s pretty amazing how often I use that ready knowledge. - Nathan is coming home this weekend and has requested Sonora Chicken Pasta. Absolutely, bud.
- Holly Aird had me at first, but I think with season 4 of Waking the Dead Claire Goose has passed her. (Of course, this is 2004 television, so I’m crushing on 17-year-old video.)
- I have a solid weekend of work to do on our deck this spring. I hoped lumber prices would have retreated a bit by now, but instead they’re still setting new records with each passing week.
- Hasbro has announced that going forward, the toy formerly known as Mr. Potato Head will be known as Potato Head. Or something. It’s hard to tell.
