Candy Nation earned some of my Christmas business this year, and I suspect will stay on my list. Good balance of selection and price.
Chick-fil-A will imminently become the third-largest fast food chain in the United States, leaping Subway, Burger King, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell in only a year and change, and trailing only Starbucks and McDonald’s. Why? Well, Chick-fil-A has a high-quality product, sold at a reasonable price from a clean restaurant by a pleasant employee. This is not difficult to understand, yet apparently impossible to imitate.
Once-upon-a-time Clint Eastwood partner Sondra Locke died earlier this week. She gained me as a fan in Bronco Billy, which is a film I need to revisit as an adult. RIP.
I have a friend on social media who posts photos of Afghanistan semi-regularly. That place looks godawful, like you could wander 50 miles and not see anything green.
