All beloved Christmas lore has a starting point.
You ever seen that cute oft-forwarded dialogue of Mulder and Scully of The X-Files exploring a typical Christmas tree and setting? It’s right here, if you’ve somehow never seen it.
I actually know that piece’s origin. My friend Melanie’s writing group at Intergraph collaborated on it 20+ years ago. Now it’s in the wild.
And now I see that very thing happening with my friend Sarah’s true story of revenge, The Star of Vengeance, which gets a little more widely circulated every year. Lea and I have enjoyed it for years.
Catch up with it on Rocket City Mom if you haven’t read it yet. (And please be kind to retail employees, not to avoid retribution but because it’s what good humans do.)
