My latest post at Rocket City Mom is about keeping parenting mistakes in perspective.
I’m really good at remembering times that I’ve fallen short, and pummeling myself for them.
But guess what? That’s not especially productive. Look back on mistakes with your head, not your heart. Look back thinking it’ll help you avoid the same mistake in the future, not to consider how rottenly you handled something.
It’s my favorite Rocket City Mom piece I’ve written so far. So go read it, forward it, and comment on it. Thank you.
I hope you’re having a good weekend.
