Obama requests “space” from Putin

On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this can be solved, but it’s important for (Putin) to give me space. . . . This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.” – Barack Obama to Dmitry Medvedev, March 26

In other words:  “Hey, I don’t dare tell the American people how much we plan to roll over for you now, because then ‘my election’ might not go well.  Let me smile and hopey-changey the poor slobbering rubes just until November, and then I’ll come be your bitch.  Keep the ball gag warm for me.”

Krauthammer here; brilliant as usual.

Change you can believe in, comrades!

  1. Our dear Peg believed in Wonder-Boy much longer than many, too.

He’s such a sleaze. He’s so transparent about it too, because he knows the media juggernaut has his back. Maybe there’ll be enough truth that gets through to rouse some of his lab rats from their hopey-changey stupors and we can run the asshole back to Chicago.

  2. When the 2008 presidential election ushered Obama and the “Change we can believe in” into office, I decided that I would be better off weathering the change by expatriating during his tenure.

Forty months later, I’m really hoping that the GOP will produce a candidate to remove “The One” from office because I’m ready to come home.

  3. Jenny, I think it’s a healthy dollop of each. The leftist mush in his head has been encouraged since he left college, not tempered by real-life concerns like actually making a real living. That’s misguided. But, I think he also has a healthy streak of making “the rich” pay. He’s at least as interested in punishing the accomplished as he is helping those who need it. That’s hating America.

Christopher, it’ll be Romney, and Paul Ryan for VP would help a lot. (And good to “see” you again, man!)
