(Actually I’m sure it is, but California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 is apparently still growing, and has suddenly made CARAMEL COLOR a carcinogen.) I’m sure that’s also the source of “This product contains ingredients known to the state of California to cause cancer,” which has always struck me as a hilariously convoluted sentence.
What’s the red coloring made out of squished insects? Carmine? Let’s use that.
