A longtime net friend of mine has begun a non-profit organization dedicated to growing a really incredible live music scene for Huntsville, Alabama. Huntsville has known pockets of coolness in its live music scene, but it really hasn’t grown commensurate with the area, and I think this organization could be a really good impetus for that.
The Greater Huntsville Music Coalition bears watching. I’ll be paying attention for events and news, and if you’re in my neighborhood and like live music, I encourage you to do the same. Check out the Facebook page here.

Awesome Bo! Thanks for the helping spread the word about the organization. My hope is that through aggressive marketing and sponsorship, we can increase the quantity, quality and diversity of live music and art related events taking place in the Greater Huntsville Area. Any income generated above our operating expenses will be returned to area school music programs and other worthwhile charities. Constructive Input is always welcome!
