Nathan turned 8 today. Wow. Mommy hooked us up a killer party at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.
We had a good time. Aunt Jenny (and my niece-to-be) got to hang with us on the tail end of her visit before leaving to catch her flight. I got to say “JUUUUUUUULIO!!!” with BamaDan a time or three, and generally enjoy how great it is to be an Alabama fan. I got to hear about the adaptive cruise control in Dad’s new car, which sounds very cool, though I worry he’s going to slot it into his lifestyle in ways the manufacturer never intended.
Most importantly, I got to hang out at a great museum on a beautiful day with my little man (a bit; he was mostly about his friends, which is cool, of course) and celebrate his eighth trip around the sun. Happy Birthday, Nathan. I love you.
