All right, I bit.
I had designated today the Friday of Bo, a la the Summer of George, so it was nothing but decomposing decompressing today. I joined Netflix on the $9.99 monthly plan ($8.99 for one title at a time, plus $1.00 for Blu-ray access). Along with that comes unlimited streaming of all titles available for such, assuming you have a compatible device. Just happen to have one already ready to go.
The instant streaming is cool, but it’s definitely limited. Netflix boasts 12,000 titles available for streaming, but unless you’re into gems like the third season of Dr. Who or Battlefield Earth, you can cross off about 11,900 of them out of the gate. (Actually I do welcome the opportunity to see Battlefield Earth for “free.” I’m curious whether it’s as bad as I’ve heard. Plus, I’ve always wanted to see if it turns me into a Scientologist. Heh.) We did enjoy The Bugs Bunny Roadrunner Movie and The NeverEnding Story today.
We also rented Journey to the Center of the Earth in HD from Xbox Live. That’s enjoyable and family-friendly.
I wasn’t quite totally worthless today. I did do some dishes and fold some towels.

I love love love The NeverEnding Story. I remember the first time I saw it at my friend’s house on Betamax.
So, does anybody know the name the goofy kid gives the princess at the end of that movie? I saw it probably 30 times in elementary school and my entire class was baffled. I’m sticking with “Saban.”
Fighting: I wonder how many working Beta drives are left?
BamaDan: IMDB says it’s “Moonchild.” I heard “Buddy Ebsen” myself.
Gotcha. More proof they should have shown _Videodrome_ or _Rome, Open City_ in 5th Grade.
