So, looks like USC and UCLA to the Big Ten is a done deal. Today I read that Oregon is interested in joining the SEC. If money is going to truly ruin college football, this might be how. (And not to mention how tough all of this nonsense is going to be on smaller, non-football teams at these schools.)
James Caan has died at 82. God be with his family and friends. RIP.
I have another restaurant review coming at We Are Huntsville shortly, and then I’m going to take a break from external-to-BoWilliams.com reviews. I’ve picked up some more volunteer work, and things are humming at my actual job, and something had to give. I hope I can get back over there once in a while after I get a bit more settled.
Baker Mayfield is now a Carolina Panther. All the best to him. The Panthers host the Browns September 11.
Lea and I are going to install new flooring in our living room, hallway, and guest bathroom right after the kids leave for school. The goal is to be done before football season starts. Prayers appreciated. Please start now.
I started Stranger Things 4 tonight. I’m not sure I remember enough of the story. I’ll try one more episode, but right now it feels bailable to me. (Wow, that was unthinkable basking in the afterglow of the first season.)
