Well, it hasn’t taken me long at all to get tired of the rain. Even cooler temperatures are on the way next week! Yay, fall!
Good Firehouse Subs tip: If you usually order a large sandwich, try a medium with double meat for a similar price next time. (This is one of the only chain restaurants I visit regularly.)
I read yesterday that there would be no more Star Trek movies at Paramount. I read today that that’s not true. I’m glad to hear that. I think all three of the ones so far have been quite good.
So Amazon.com wants you to go to Kohl’s now to return things. This worked out well this morning, except that Kohl’s is so much further than my neighborhood UPS Store. Thinking back, I think I may have been herded into the Kohl’s option, and I can still choose the UPS Store if I pay closer attention. Note for next time.
Oliver Askew has been medically suspended by IndyCar after reporting some troubling symptoms, so Helio Castroneves will drive his Arrow McLaren SP car in the Harvest Grand Prix double-header next weekend at Indianapolis. It will be the first time Helio has driven for anyone but Penske since 1999.
Part of me still can’t believe we’re going to get most of a college football season, but it appears we are. The SEC starts this weekend.
It irritates the hell out of me when people listen to respond, instead of to understand. I’m trying to work on that myself. It’s helping me not to reply online to people who do that.
