The boys and I stayed up last night to see the 2020 Corvette reveal—the first C8. I had hoped to be able to easily find a good version of the reveal video and drive-out itself, but this released-this-morning commercial gives you a good look.
The new Corvette is still powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8, making 495 bhp and 470 lb-ft of torque. (And, in case you missed it, it’s mounted in the middle of the car.) We learned at the reveal last night that it’s good for sub-3-second 0-60 times. Wow. We also learned that the 2020 Corvette will start under $60,000. Double wow.
Can’t wait to see it in the ‘glass!
