You ever fasted for an entire day? I don’t think I have. I’m going to give it a go tomorrow, allowing myself only zero-calorie liquids (mostly water, and ignoring the two or three that are in a cup of black coffee). I have a Twitter acquaintance who fasts completely for one day a week, and I’ve favorably considered what she has to say about it.
I’m curious about how I’ll do with it. I doubt I’ll enjoy it—in case you haven’t noticed, I love to eat—but it’s short-lived. Obviously, it won’t genuinely hurt me. I have intermittently fasted before for a week or two at a time, eating all of my food daily between 11 am and 7 pm, and done fine with it. I may settle into that.
But what if I can acclimate to a whole day per week too? Hmmm.
I’ll let you know how it goes.
