We got a real treat tonight. The UAB Concert Choir came to sing at church, and they were amazing.
This is an audition-only choir of some renown, about 60 voices strong. (That Megan is in it was all of the quality endorsement I needed, frankly.) They did a varied, largely Christian set showing off several different styles. They are also engaging performers who obviously have a good time.
The voice really is the most amazing instrument.
Locals, the UAB Concert Choir is in the middle of a 10-performance, 3-day tour. You can see and hear them tomorrow night, March 12, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Madison at 7 pm. Go.
Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for a beautiful experience. I’ll definitely see and hear you again soon!
