• Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is 25!  Feel old?

• Rained about a third of an inch last night, which is welcome, but can we just get back to regular rain without the violent thunderstorms?  We still have just a smidge of latent fatigue about such ’round these parts.
• Mr. Weiner, the star of Lesbian Seductions 28 has now thrown you overboard, demanding your resignation.  It might be time, bud.
• I keep these non-political as a rule, and I guess the preceding tiptoes around and perhaps through it.  Hopefully it’s non-controversial enough to be, uh, non-controversial.
• Did you play with the strummable, pickable Google guitar logo last week, commissioned and displayed in honor of Les Paul’s 96th birthday?  Lots of people did.  It’s estimated to have cost the world $268 million in lost productivity.
• I magnetized one of my watches at Sci-Quest on Sunday.  I’m trying to use a wand-type tape head demagnetizer on it without opening it, and I think I’m making incremental progress.  That’s good.  I have a watch vise and a case-back wrench, but I’m still terrified of opening watches.  There are lots of mistakes to make, and almost none of them are small.
