- MySpace is officially on deathwatch. Wanna buy it?
- The Robby Jordan Band will be at Hog Wild in Huntsville on Saturday, March 26, at 9. Robby is a high school friend of mine, and this band is very, very good. “The band is a throwback to the days of real country music. They specialize in honky tonk, outlaw country music with a mix of rock and blues that the south is famous for.” Yeah, that sounds right.
- The latest candidate class for the ubiquitous roving mandatory sterilization teams in Bozekistan is the idiot on the brakes while accelerating away from a stop.
- Kudos to Taco Bell for hitting back, vigorously and candidly. Saying “thank you for suing us,” they’re up front in nine major newspapers and on the web, with comprehensive details on the ingredients in their meat. (It’s 88% beef, not 35%.) I wouldn’t be surprised if they countersue for libel.
- I think the only slow Aerosmith song besides “Dream On” that I can stand is “Angel.” I used to like “What It Takes” before it died of overexposure (see also Def Leppard’s Hysteria, as well as Boston’s debut), and I can’t tell any difference between any of the ones that have come out since then.
- You ever see Wild Justice? It’s Cops, basically, but with California game wardens. It’s good television.
- Good to be the king, baby.

Never liked What It Takes. Hysteria did get overplayed, but now that 80s metal is pretty much dead I can listen to it whenever it does come on the radio.
Boston’s debut is a classic and one of the greatest rock albums ever. I could listen to that over and over and over and over…
Just my 2 cents.
Falcon, I once loved the Boston record, and I agree that it’s fabulous top to bottom. You must understand, though, I can hear that entire record in a week, or even less, on our most prominent rock station.
I just try to remember how I felt when I first heard it. I did listen to the entire thing, and then listen to the entire thing again. It is a fantastic album.
