I see this one guy around. We don’t live far from each other. We have children who go to school and play Upward basketball together.
So there are any number of places I can, and do, run into him. But he doesn’t see me quite often enough to remember exactly who I am.
He always knows he knows me, but I get those vagaries from him. You know, a “what’s going on?” instead of a “Hi, Bo”? A “how’s the family” instead of “how are Lea and the boys”?
So I’m always sure to call him by name, then ask about his wife and children by name. Then I always chuckle about it later.
I hope you’re having a good weekend.

Mischievious more than mean. Now the texts during Upwards awards, those were mean.
Well, it’s a bit of social awkwardness I could spare him. 🙂
Whaddya mean, those texts were mean? You goaded me into that post. I think we were remarkably kind given what we had to work with, actually.
