- Please remember that no one at the dealership had anything to do with this. The dealership employees are angry and frustrated too. Please be polite.
- Your vehicle is not a death trap. Quoting the relevant Toyota page: “To be clear, the condition is rare and generally does not occur suddenly. It can occur when the pedal mechanism becomes worn and, in certain conditions, the accelerator pedal may become harder to depress, slower to return or, in the worst case, stuck in a partially depressed position.”
Toyota didn’t set out to injure its customers, and my opinion is that it’s responding well to a freak situation. Please remain calm.
