Lots of games at Palmer Park today. Parking was scarce. Folks were pulling up on the grass and what-not:
Tough to find a spot today.
Unless, of course, you’re an inconsiderate prick driving a gigantic pickup that might as well have “TINY PECKER” painted down the side, and circumstances have dictated that you simply must tow your personal watercraft to the baseball park. All of this entitles you to four spaces:

No kidding about the parking situation on beautiful saturday’s either. With 10 fields hosting baseball, several hosting soccer games, and who knows how many hosting girls softball up a little farther, it was crazy out there today.

Are we suprised to see someone with a gas hog vehicle taking up more than his/her share of parking, and towing a gas-guzzling toy?
I’ve learned my lesson from Bo not to tar everyone in a given group with the same brush, but I really find pickup truck drivers are the rudest group on the road, the most dangerous drivers, and generally not good highway citizens.
I’m okay with the pick up drivers as long as they know where the edges of their trucks are. MY problem comes when they nearly run my little Golf off the road because they’re drifting over the lines. In a collision, Gross Mass Rules, and I’d always lose…
Hey…I know where that one belongs. The house is equally as obnoxious. Just down the street from Walter Jones’ place.
azn8tive: I can see both sides of the conspicuous consumption thing. I don’t have anything against ostentation per se.
But (one would presume), he’s never going to park his house in FOUR GODDAM PARKING PLACES in a public park.
One would hope…some people believe that they can do whatever they please to hell with the consequences or inconvenience to others.
I just have to know…Did you leave a note?
No, I didn’t leave a note. It was satisfying enough to me to snap the photos and blog. 🙂
