These are but a few of the terms to be found on the tantalizing box in my garage.
The process has begun.
Tommy helped me get it to my house at lunch today. Charles is coming to help me tomorrow with the old entertainment center and television, as well as deploying the new one. I expect to be done (except for little stuff like universal remote control reprogramming) by mid-afternoon. That’s sittin’ right with the new TV, the Xbox 360, and the HD-DVD player. (That’s another first for me; I’ve never waded into a format war before. At $180 to add the HD-DVD player to the Xbox 360, it seemed like a slam-dunk, so I bit.)
The tech will be here Tuesday to get my HD cable and DVR going, in plenty of time to catch LSU and Mississippi State in HD on Thursday night. I’ve already verified that I’ve got HD of the networks coming in now, so I’ll be able to see those tomorrow.
Pumped? Oh yeah, you could say that.

Welcome to the dream, my friend. Welcome to the dream. I haven’t regretted my big-ass LCD purchase one bit. I’m also thinking later this year I might get an Xbox 360 or PS3 so I can play Grand Theft Auto 4 on it when it comes out. Aw yeah.
Pardon me while I wipe the drool from my screen. That’s a SWEET system you’ve got there! Super Bowl at YOUR place?
We got our HDTV a couple of years back (it was my husband’s equivalent of the anniversary diamond band, LOL). I love that you can even see the mesh holes in the players jerseys.
It is a true honor to be involved. Even if it involves heavy lifting.
Sweeeeeeeeet!
Nice!!!
We are now in approximately the 96th hour of Bo’s TV mania. It didn’t get hooked up until Saturday afternoon but, trust me on this one, I’ve been living with the excitement over the impending purchase for awhile. In case anybody is wondering, I’m fine. I’ve only had to listen to the Superman theme song at full volume a couple of times and was given proper advance notice so I could leave the room. Bo’s almost got the living restored to a semblance of order, which is about as good as it gets in our house. Anyway, in case you wondered why Bo hasn’t updated his blog lately, he has been too involved with his latest electronic mistress…
That’s ok. We almost broke the sheet rock off when we tested our sound system with the part of the Lord of the Rings where the Dark Riders come storming out of the fortress…
Thinking about Bo watching State take on LSU tonight:

Go Dawgs!!!
Oh, what a great strip! Yup, that’s been me. Definitely. 🙂
So, tell us BO. How was it. Was the first time watching football on her as good as you thought it would be?
Oh, definitely a fine time. I am looking forward to better games on Saturday (Georgia Tech/Notre Dame and Cal/Tennessee most notably). The second half of this one has been pretty boring.
I also played a little Gears of War last night. I think I’m going to like it.
I can’t think of it as “her,” ‘seester. I’m already plenty excited; the last thing I need is to add a sexual component. 😉
