This time I heard from Rusty, a classmate I haven’t seen since our ten-year reunion. In high school Rusty was a fun-loving party animal, but he was also bright and kind. I always enjoyed talking to him because he was a fellow raging metalhead, and also quite funny.
Tonight he sent me a message and told me he had been going through some old pictures, and had found one from high school that he thought I’d like. He was right. Such an appalling lack of decorum from that kid in the back:
That’s Teresa in red, Kathy in white, Gretchen sitting right in front of me, and though I remember her well, I can’t remember the girl in the denim jacket’s name to save my life.
I really miss big hair. Have I mentioned that before?
