So how much are our cultural affections reflected in our children?
Nathan wanted to see a New Year’s celebration. We turned on the Times Square party about ten minutes out and enjoyed the lights, sounds, and sights.
So shortly after the ball dropped, one of the most iconic voices of the 20th century started crooning “New York, New York.” And the following commenced in my living room (you can’t make this up, folks):
Bo: “Nathan, who is that singing?”
Nathan: “Hey, I know who that is!”
Bo: “Who?”
Nathan: “NANCY SINATRA’S DAD!”
