This one flew into my open car window as I was arriving at work this morning. It found its way to the passenger headrest by the time I got stopped.

You can hear these over near the Redstone Airport. Sounds like a roar. Thought it was machines. I heard the exact same noise in Central Alabama on Thursday.
It’s quite a racket, isn’t it Tommy? I saw the bug before I became specifically aware of the noise, so I never wondered what it was.
I could do with about 99% fewer bug photos. Yeesh.
If that thing flew in my window? Y’all would be able to hear me scream from here.
