• There are actual 30s in the weekend forecast.
• Zero tolerance = zero common sense.
• I’ve read some fun poked at Arizona representative Jeff Flake for spending a week by himself on an uninhabited island in the Pacific.  I thought it was pretty cool, actually—plus I love that there really are still places where no one lives, even though this was apparently pretty close to Kwajalein.
• Just about the only reason my blogroll ever gets shorter is that folks stop writing (and I give you a long time—months—before you fall off).  If you’re not there anymore, nothing personal—it’s just that you quit.  If you want back on, I’d love to have you.  Write something and let me know.
• The dogs-and-torches crowd has successfully chased Rush Limbaugh from potential minority ownership in the St. Louis Rams.
• Apparently Ayatollah Khamenei might be dead.  (How’s that for a hedge?)  Mind, this likely represents little hope for the Iranian people’s prospects of shaking off their oppressors.  One murderous zealot is rather like any other.
