Did y’all know LeBron James invented barbershop conversation? I didn’t either.
Dear neighbors: the front yard still looks OK. And I’ll cut the back onions soon.
I enjoyed spending some time with the Rotary Club of Madison this morning over breakfast, after which it was my privilege to present for the North Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force. Marvelous fellowship, with friends old and new.
We have IndyCar at Phoenix on Saturday night, and wouldn’t you know it? Possibly the last perfect crockpot chili night of the year is forecast to coincide. Looking forward to that.
Great to catch up with my friend James this week! Hadn’t seen him since last year’s food blogger tour. We are walking a couple of similar paths, so it’s great to get his perspective. (Plus, he’s a fun guy in general.)
Tim Tebow jerked his first AA pitch directly into the seats. I’d love to see him continue into the majors. Unlikely? Yeah, still is. But he wasn’t supposed to get this far.
I loved The Importance of Being Earnest. It’s very funny. Now I want to see it performed.
