Gary Collins died yesterday. He was 74. I remember him hosting Hour Magazine, and my sister Jenny calling him “Merv Donahue.” I remember him being one of the framed astronauts in Hangar 18, and exclaiming “We’ve been set up from the start!” (If nothing else, the guy gets props for bagging Mary Ann Mobley.)
