I love women, at large and in general

I said as much on Facebook today, and thought I’d expound a bit.

I love that they perpetuate the human race.

I love that they civilize men.

I love that when I count my real friends, there are ten women for every one man.

Most of all, I love that my wife Lea continues to decide that staying with me is worth her time.

I’m a big, big fan of women.

You might say I’m an addict.

  1. Is this an attempt to suck up for your “a nice rack” comment yesterday on FB?

Anyway, to share…my almost-15-year-old has had her heart broken for the 1st time. Her & the boy of 9 months (that’s almost, like, forever for a kid her age) broke up and it was UGLY. Still is…guy is acting like a lunatic. Anyway, she comes into a room where I’m at and doesn’t see that her dad’s in there and blurts out to me, “Why are boys so STUPID?? How they think doesn’t even make sense!”
To which her father replied, in what may be the most profound statement he has ever made, “All I can tell you, honey, is our reasoning seems sound in our own head…it’s when you say it out loud that it seems really dumb.”

  2. Marianne, you make it sound much coarser than it was. πŸ™‚

Sorry about your daughter’s heartbreak. And yes, boys do dumb shit. To be fair, they do get a little smarter from adolescence to adulthood.

  3. I’m certain Marianne is much smarter than the weather chick, so in that regard, yes.

In the arena of buxomocicity, probably not. That weather chick escaped from a Russ Meyer film. Nobody really looks like that. πŸ™‚
