- My father turned 66 yesterday. His counsel, respect, and friendship mean an awful lot to me. Happy Birthday, Dad. I love you.
- I really, really don’t like cosmetic surgery. If you’ve been in a car accident and need a talented doctor to rebuild your face, then fine. But please, can we can it with the breast augmentations and the tummy tucks? I love “imperfection.”

- Unfortunately, I’ll miss the local tea party rally tonight. It was a lot easier for me to make a long lunch last year. Incidentally, the ongoing efforts to smear this movement as something untoward are disgusting. Disagreement is one thing; dishonesty is quite another. If you and I have a good relationship and you’d like to keep it, don’t let me catch you creating or spreading fiction.

- I’ve never had Transitions lenses before. I’ll have some next week. Review soon.
- My uncle has friends who are using the pillow test as their living wills. What is the pillow test? “Honey, put a pillow over my face. If I fight, stop.” Heh.

Happy birthday to your Dad! I’m thankful for every year that my parents celebrate.
I’ve been doing WW at home since Christmas. My problem is I like to indulge in adult beverages. Suppose I need to back off on that. LOL!
Transition lenses are great! I wore them for years and only changed this past exam because I had to get bi-focals and didn’t know if I could get them in my prescription. Yes, I am THAT old! The only problem that I found with them is that they don’t get dark enough for me during the summer months. During the winter months the lenses are so dark that it takes awhile for them to come back to normal when returning indoors. I’m considering going back to them when I go for my eye exam this summer.
I was tempted to go downtown to the Tea Party, but this funny thing called “work” got in the way.
And the dishonesty factor has already led me to 86 quite a few previously long-standing relationships this year. It’s actually quite liberating.
AZn8tive: Good luck! Sounds on Twitter like Saintseester is doing WW too. And I’ve started the grand “bifocal countdown” myself. 🙁
kemtee, I’m beginning to evaluate much more critically whether someone really is trying to “meet me halfway.”
I have to admit I’m not as anti-plastic surgery as you.
That’s what I get for being a strip club DJ when I was younger, I guess. 🙂
