OK, it’s not really a ski boat. It’s built to move “merchandise.” It has 2,000 horsepower and a fuel capacity of 4,000 gallons. Note the extremely low profile, which helps it escape radar detection.
Outfits called Crompton Marine and Nautexco Marine were getting nearly $700,000 each for boats like this, to operators using them between northern Africa and southern Spain. They’ve been busted, though, so no more worries!
