With Steve Austin and Granny

Remember the Six Million Dollar Man action figure? Steve Austin had a bionic eye you could look through, and bionic implants in his arms. (And a fetching red leisure suit.)

With my maternal grandmother in the kitchen of my childhood home. Probably 1976. I’m wearing a pin that actually has some Episcopalian affiliation, though I liked it because the red cross on it made it a serviceable fireman’s badge.
