Remember last week when it didn’t get above freezing for 36 hours? Today we’ll flirt with needing air conditioning. Sick yet?
Didn’t take long for my reintroduction of Wal-Mart into my life to take a terrible hit. No baskets apparent at the entrance this morning. (With one, I’d have purchased 8-10 yogurts instead of 2.) Then, I waited five real minutes for a cashier at the only checkout where the light was on. Sigh. I feel like I’ve taken a slutty ex back. Fool me once…
Apple Watch. Meh. My longstanding disdain of Apple’s arrogance aside, I can’t marry a smart watch because I enjoy actual watches too much. I think this ends up on the wrist of a person who has either stopped wearing a watch, or wears one but doesn’t give it much right-brained thought. (And can stomach Apple’s attitude.)
Some friends introduced us to Sequence recently. This has potential as a game in our rotation that children and adults can play together and both enjoy, a la Qwirkle.
Did you know that red jalapenos and bell peppers have significantly more vitamin C than green ones (and that all peppers have a lot)?
