- Low 50s coming Sunday night.
- My latest at the Tennessee Valley Moms Network is here.
- Aren’t you excited about your team playing Alabama this year? I am!
- I’m halfway through From a Buick 8, and I’m not sure I’m going to finish it. I’ve never invoked the Page 80 Rule on page 254, but I just don’t care. I’ve read this book too many times already. I’ve defended Stephen King against accusations of excessive reliance on formula before, but they stick this time.
- Speaking of Buick, they have their strongest lineup in years, but the commercials asking us to believe that Peyton Manning and Shaquille O’Neal drive around in $25,000 American cars are a bit much.
- The number of things that only my sister and I remember about Mom is getting large. That’s both sad and cool.
- I noticed the other day that the Kindle Fire has gone to “Available used from these sellers:” status on Amazon.com. That’s a sure sign a successor is imminent.

Funny you should mention the Kindle Fire being “Used” sales only. It’s been much noticed and anticipated and finally announced today: http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/09/hands-on-with-amazons-new-kindle-fire-hd/
There’s likely better articles, but wired is alright and was first I saw in my news feed to come up.
