Well, I suppose Irene still has some havoc to wreak in Canada as I type, but she’s halved her wind speed and doubled her travel speed, so hopefully it’s about over. Thoughts and prayers to all those impacted by wind damage and flooding. I’ve heard from most everyone I know up that way, and they’re all fine. Lots of power out, though. Annoyance overcomes adventure at about twelve hours there. Good luck, folks.

I’ve not spent any more time looking into Rick Perry than I had the last time I mentioned him, which I know really must be bumming out those of you who look to me to know what you should think. Patience, kids. Still months and months to go.
However, Perry certainly is effective at enraging people who are rather comical in an enraged state.
