The official total (so far) as I type is 7″ in Huntsville and 8″ in Madison, and it just started snowing again. The shallowest depth I could find was right at 7″, in the middle of the backyard.
The boys and I threw snowballs for a little while, and now Lea’s distributing hot chocolate as they build a snowman with the boys next door.
Good times. Feeling blessed.

Neighbors built one at 8′ 4″. Impressive juggernaut.
Since my husband would not come out and help me, I had to stop when I could no longer move the bits into place. It’s been fun, but I’m done, now. We can put the snow away, okay?
